The Pickaway County Recorder’s Office offers convenient online access through our recording website,
CountyFusion
Documents recorded within our office are indexed by name. If you are unsure of the current owner of a property, you can use the Auditor’s website to search by address or parcel number, and you should be able to see the current listed owner. Once you have this information, you will search on our recording website, CountyFusion, using the name you have found.
HELPFUL TIPS FOR ONLINE SEARCHING:
All indexes are available from 1/1/1990 to present by typing in the name
Historical Indexes from 1810-1990 are available under the ‘Historical Indexes’. These will generally ask you to enter the first '2' letters of the name you are searching for. For the 'R' index you can only enter the 'first' letter. To find 'SCH' names you need to look under 'SH'.
- Document images are available online back to approximately 1996 and for deed records, back until 1990 and are continuously being scanned back. We have had documents scanned back to 1980 and are working to get them verified before putting them online. If you can see indexing but not the image, the document probably does not fall within the above date range to view. You can contact our office by phone or email with the book and page reference and for $2.00 a page, we can get you a copy. Any images you do have access to on our website can be downloaded, saved and/or printed for no charge.
- Official Records started 4-16-1996. Prior to this date there were separate Deed, Mortgage, Lease, Power of Attorney, Mechanics Lien, Federal Tax Lien, Partnership, Unemployment Compensation Lien, Workers Compensation Lien and Corrupt Activity Lien books.
- MARGINAL NOTATIONS: Marginal notations for documents recorded after 3-18-2019 will have a blue "VIEW" button which will link it to the referenced document.
Prior to 3-18-2019 marginal notation reference information will be under the legal description tab.
